The Holy Spirit has been sent to us as a gift and a blessing, and He is the Helper we need in all areas of our life. He teaches us to pray in the spirit in a language we do not even know about.  We did not do anything to deserve this gift, but God gave it to us out of His grace and love for us. When we have His Spirit inside us, we can produce the fruit of the spirit. The manifestations of that fruit include love, joy, and peace.

Everything within the realm of knowledge, whether facts, events, purposes, motives, origins, or destinies — human, divine, or "satanic"; natural or supernatural; or past, present, or future — comes within the focal range of one or the other of these three revelation gifts.

God will use revelatory gifts to accomplish many purposes: to lead people to Christ, to build up faith, to heal, to expose the inner heart, etc.

Whether Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Atheist, or a bit of everything, all people possess spiritual gifts. Much like physically observable gifts such as artistry or athleticism, spiritual gifts come naturally. Spiritual gifts are neutral, meaning they are neither inherantly good nor evil; they can be used for good, or misused for evil.

We must be mindful to obtain our understanding of hell from the Bible, when dealing with matters of Christian faith. It is of the utmost importance that we abandon the application of Greek mythological in our ideas about hell. Further, we must be mindful of how the Bible describes the character of God as we examine what the "church" teaches about this matter.

Understanding Covenant is the key to understanding the Bible. The Bible is not "Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth," but rather an account of the covenant journey of God and humanity. The New Covenant is the only applicable covenant for us today and is the focus is this LifeLAB.
